When he discovers that only a real Smurf can give him what he wants and that only Smurfette can turn the Naughties into real Smurfs, Gargamel kidnaps Smurfette and takes her to Paris, France where the Naughties teach her to become one of them. There, with the help of the Smurf essence, Gargamel hopes to use the Eiffel Tower as an energy-generating antenna to finally return home.
