Cast:
Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne / Batman, a billionaire socialite dedicated to protecting Gotham City from the criminal underworld.
Tom Hardy as Bane.Viewers can expect Bane (Tom Hardy) to act as much more of a direct foe to Batman, however. In the comics, Bane is a strategic mastermind with the brains and the brawn to stand toe to toe with Batman.
Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle / Catwoman. Catwoman is one of the two villains of the movie revealed so far, though calling her a villain is probably overstating things.
Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth remains loyal butler, confidant, and father figure to Bruce.
Gary Oldman as James Gordon will likely play a central role once again. Gordon alone knows the truth behind Batman's role in the five murders. Unfortunately for him, he has no choice but to lead the manhunt for his friend and partner.
Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox continues to both oversee the daily operations of Wayne Enterprises and develop new gadgets for Batman.
Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate s a member of the Wayne Enterprises board who helps Bruce in his quest to resume his father's philanthropic undertakings. Tate will likely be a love interest for Bruce in place of the late Rachel Dawes, and maybe even a rival for his affections with Catwoman on the scene.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake, a beat cop who is hand-picked by Gordon to join his task force.
Josh Pence and Liam Neeson as Ra's al Ghul, with the former playing a young version of the character in scenes to take place thirty years before the events of Batman Begins and the latter reportedly reprising his Batman Begins role in a cameo appearance.
Synopsis:
Eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, the terrorist leader Bane arrives in Gotham City, pushing it and its police force to their limits, forcing its former hero Batman to resurface after taking the fall for Harvey Dent's crimes.
